We enable people with disabilities to do exciting adventure activities

Story

At the ripe old age of 55, I have made the somewhat brave and some would say foolhardy decision to run in the London Marathon in April 2015.

I am doing this to raise funds for the Calvert Trust in Exmoor which enables young people with disabilities to benefit from outdoor activities in the countryside. One of the students at Ripon Grammar School was badly injured in a road traffic accident last year and has lost the ability to walk. The Calvert Trust helps young people who have suffered similar injuries to remain active and enables them to set themselves personal goals. The Calvert Trust relies solely on donations and I would like to do my bit to help all young people across the country who find themselves in such a difficult situation. The facilities and staff at the Calvert Trust are superb and it also provides respite for parents of the children too. Please help me to raise funds for this very worthy cause.

Here's a link to their website which shows some of the work that they do...
