On 23rd August 2014 we received the devastating news that our daughters heart had stopped beating at 36 weeks, My wife had only seen the midwife at a routine appointment the previous day and all had been well.

My wife, Hazel, was induced and gave birth to our beautiful baby girl on 25th August,  we named her Sienna Grace.

SANDS help provide us with a room and cold cot so that we could spend some time with our precious little girl, and once we left the hospital were given a memory box which is also provided by SANDS.

I am running the marathon in memory of Sienna, and raising funds so that SANDS can continue to help others in needs, like us.
