Story

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving Page

In September I will be taking on the 1,100 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats along with 14 other friends to raise £100,000 for the UCH Macmillan Cancer Centre in London. This is a state of the art cancer facillity in central London and includes a dedicated teenage and young adult cancer service. It welcomed its first patients on 12 April this year.

We all have our own very personal stories to tell about cancer and for me it hit home earlier this year when a close colleague was diagnosed with cancer. She, along with I suspect many of the other 849 people who would have been diagnosed with cancer that day, set out in a quiet but determined way to defeat it.

This event is about supporting the extraordinary work that Macmillan do working with the 2 million people living with cancer in the UK today. Please give as generously as you can.
