Bartonwheelmore.co.uk is raising funds for two nominated cancer charities as part of Barton Willmore’s 75th Anniversary celebrations. On 6th September I cycled the Bristol to Reading leg, a distance of 103 miles along a fairly indirect route - which included many miles on mud and gravel towpaths along the Kennet and Avon canal. It was a long and tiring day - 12 hours from leaving Bristol to arriving at Reading - and many years since I had cycled such a distance, as you can see my the photo!
