In July of next year myself and the Cycling Plus team are taking up the challenge of cycling from London to Paris to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Just to make it even trickier, we have decided to warm up by riding an extra 100 miles from Bath to London first. Your donation here will not only help fund research into fighting one of the UK's biggest killers, it will also ensure I endure several months of misery as I knock some of the vices most dear to me on the head. And I know there are plenty of you out there who would pay to see me go through that.

The cause is close to my heart as my mother managed to defeat breast cancer several years ago but many women and their families haven't been as fortunate as ours.
