On Sunday 1st September 2013, I took part part in the Manchester 100 Mile Bike Ride.

And why did I do this?

Firstly, it was a personal challenge - I am a keen Mountain Biker - but fancied having a go at road riding.

But more importantly, it gave me an opportunity to raise money for Joining Jack (a charity funding research into finding an effective treatment for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, DMD).
