I have nearly twenty nine years service  and have seen a few officers loose their lives for the job and been close a few times myself.

COPS. (Care of Police survivors) is a worthwhile cause. 

Riding 170 miles over the weekend is the least I can do. It's nice to have a personal goal to keep trim too. LoL.
