Story

In 2017 I will be competing mine and Goldie's first ever BE80!

I'm a dedicated horsey mum of 50 years looking after my daughters couple of eventers. I do everything a full time groom would do without the pay. Why? Because I love it. I hack regular and enjoy a lesson here and there with event rider Sarah Healy, but hardly ever compete. Usually because I'll make up an excuse not to! So when I saw this challenge I thought perfect you can't get out of this one, and put myself forward. And not to make it an easy challenge I've set it to be on our new baby Goldie.

She is a 15.2hh Irish sports horse who my daughter Becci purchased a few weeks ago unbroken for Ireland. She will be 4 next year but hasn't yet been sat on by anyone- so this should be interesting with its fair share of thrills and spills. Along with an interesting blog of her being broken in, right up to doing our BE80 challenge. (Secretly always wanted a BE record!)

Hopefully I will receive lots of support and sponsorship money for Hannah's Willberry Wonder Pony charity along the way.
