To those who know me I am very new to running and it’s taken a lot of persuasion to get me to this point. I know for some 5k is easy, but for me it is still a challenge and what better way to motivate myself than by signing up for a charity run where I get to wear a stupid costume and run around a London park on a wintery Sunday morning?! While doing it I would like to raise as much money as I can for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, and race not just for those who have sadly lost their battle with cancer but for those we are lucky enough to still have with us.   

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money to help The Royal Marsden provide world-class care for cancer patients, and to support the hospital’s pioneering work in cancer research and education.  By supporting The Royal Marsden in this way, the charity aims to help make life better for people with cancer, and strive for a future without it.
