On the 14th October I'm joining a team from Close Brothers to abseil 114m down the ArcelorMittal Obit at the Olympic Park in Stratford. Having never done anything like this before I am slightly terrified at the prospect but trying not to dwell on that too much!

The event is part of a super charged effort by the Close Brothers Retail Finance team to raise over £20,000 in 100 days for our local partner charity, Jigsaw4U, to celebrate their 20 year anniversary.

Jigsaw4u helps children and young people coping with bereavement, domestic abuse, child sexual exploitation, and other social and emotional issues. Helping children and young people put the pieces back together since 1997; Jigsaw4u is an established local charity, committed to giving vulnerable children a voice.

So come on people, dig deep and wish me luck and I promise I'll post some action shots on the actual day!
