I am running a half-marathon as part of three teams completing this event. We aim to run a relay, with each team covering 13 miles each, in order to cover the 39 miles from Yatesbury (Wiltshire) to 99 Sqn, RAF Brize Norton; home to the UK's C17 aircraft. Yatesbury is where the Sqn was formed back in 1917.

The NSPCC is a charity that helps provide invaluable support to many vulnerable children. The work they do is truly amazing and really does change lives. 10% of the final amount raised will also be donated to the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA).
