We fund bone cancer research & grant wishes to seriously ill people #makingmemories

Story

Hi. My name is Maggie and together with my horse Sam, we are training  to complete in our very first British Eventing 80cm (T) one day event at Munstead Heath (Dressage, showjumping and cross country) on September 15th 2018 to raise money for a very worthy cause.

Hannah’s Willberry Wonder Pony is an official charity set up by the late Hannah Francis. The successful young event rider was diagnosed with bone cancer in May 2015 and died, aged 18, on 1 August 2016.

The organisation was approved as a registered charity on 2 May 2016 and all funds raised by the charity go towards bone cancer research and granting horsey wishes to those with serious illnesses.

What does this challenge inviolve? As a Wobbleberry, I will be aiming at a British Eventing 80 (T)  competition, where 80 denotes the height of the fences in cm and ‘T’ stands for training. This means that at every BE80(T) event there will be a dedicated BE Accredited Coach on hand to help and support competitors completely free of charge, and given the amount of times I have fallen off to date, I’m gonna need all the help I can get!!! 🙈😂

After only riding for about 2 years from scratch - this is going to be an ENORMOUS  challenge for both me and my trainers and it will really test the partnership I have built with Sam.  I’m a Grade V Para rider and ride with looped reins.

Please dig deep to support a very worth while cause.

Thank you xx
