Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

What is a Wobbleberry?

A rider who is…………..

not currently fit enough to get round a cross
country course
not currently brave enough to get round a cross
country course
old enough to know better, and know that this
will hurt!
dedicated - to raising money, to training, and
conquering the fear
supportive of each other - aiming to be
weeble-esque, "we wobble, but we don't fall down".

Well, I think I fit most of this criteria!! My job is to treat horses and  riders and I treat the elite of Scottish eventing. So I get to see the injuries!! I"m trying to get my brave pants on this year to get myself and my ironically named horse Hero around a BE80 safely and soundly.

My last time jumping cross country was over 6 years ago when myself and my last horse Ben had a horrific rotational fall and were lucky to walk away from it. My hat fell off me in five different pieces but myself and Ben were remarkably physically unscathed. Five days later I did a pregnancy test and realised I was nine weeks pregnant with my first child. So, needless to say, that was the end of my jumping for a while! The fall definitely affected my confidence and because of this I only recently started jumping again in the last few weeks. I'm prepared to put my all into this and make sure we can get round safely but it will definitely be a challenge. Hero is suspicious of many things, including logs and natural fences, so we have a long way to go!!

I want to complete this challenge and raise money for a fabulous charity. I would love it if you could support me and help me to help continue Hannah’s legacy of #kickingcancersbutt
