Story
Next month I will be taking part in a 60km trek in Jordan, which is one of the areas in which War Child does incredible work supporting refugee children, families and communities who have fled Syria and are now living in Jordan's refugee camps and host communities. We will be paying all of our own costs of the trek and travel with all fundraised amounts going directly to the charity. Less than 3% of humanitarian aid is spent on child protection in conflict-affected regions but an increasing number of children around the world are being displaced each day by war. By making a donation you will be making a difference to thousands of children whose lives have been turned upside-down by conflict. You will be helping War Child to reach children early in the conflict cycle and support them through recovery; helping them rebuild their lives after experiencing the devastating effects of war. War Child are unique in their child protection efforts offering children at their most vulnerable , a safe place to play, learn and get psychological support and trauma counseling to help them through. War Child focus on providing long term support in getting these children and their families back on their feet. When this opportunity arose and having learned about the incredible work and efforts of the charity, I wanted to do my part. Any donation, big or small, will go towards such an incredible cause and we would be very grateful for your support.
