Thank you for taking the time to visit our MUMS Appeal page.  Our next emergency training programmes are in Ethiopia and South Africa

In Ethiopia, midwives and doctors from Chelsea and Westminster Hospital will provide two intensive training courses to help Ethiopian maternity workers deal with emergencies that happen in labour and with newborn babies.

We also aim to help one of the busiest hospitals and clinics in South Africa to provide emergency maternity care to mothers and babies through a structured emergency training programme in March 2013

We have a vision of the world where all pregnant mothers are able to access safe maternity care both in the U.K. and abroad.

 Your support will help our Maternity Department at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London hope to achieve this through our MUMS (Multidisciplinary Understanding of Maternity Safety) programme.  This world leading programme provides research, training of maternity teams, developing new technology innovations that improve safetly in childbirth both in the U.K. and abroad.
