Marilyn's Standard Chartered Home Run

Standard Chartered Home Run · 15 July 2021
Last year, March/April 2020, I had set a personal challenge to climb a mountain in Nepal and raise funds through that challenge. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, I was unable to achieve that and was really disappointed about it.
Since then, I had lost my motivation to train and was feeling quite aimless. With this challenge, I am gathering back my motivation to get back on the trails and get back to feeling good.
I will be covering my targeted distance purely on trails so there will be elevation gains along with my target total accumulated distance of 60km.
My story remains the same as my mountain climbing challenge - I hope that the funds raised will help give young girls from marginalised backgrounds the chance to beat their odds, excel in life and achieve things they never dreamed possible - like scaling mountains.
