Story
UPDATE: So the 8 of us (sadly Elaine was injured) embarked on our 13.1 mile journey (not 13.5 Steve!) and we all survived. Some were quicker than others but we all finished and were all pleased with our respective times. Alison was very touched when she met a fellow Lymphoma sufferer en route and was thanked for raising money for this charity. The donations are still coming in so thank you all so much.....
In May 2010 Alison was diagnosed Mediastinal Large B-Cell Non-Hodgkins lymphoma. After 8 cycles of Chemotherapy and 15 cycles of Radiotherapy she is now in remission and ready to get her life back on track! With friends & family alongside her (well if they can keep up!) she is running the Bracknell Half Marathon in the hope of raising much needed funds for the Lymphoma Association.

In the UK one person every hour is diagnosed with a lymphatic cancer and it is the 6th most common cancer. Without the help and support of charities such as this it would have been a far more difficult disease to understand and ultimately conquer.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. Thank u so much for your support :)
