Story

ok, so I've finally lost it!  A short jaunt has now turned into a South to North Wales epic, starting in Cardiff and ending in Prestatyn, taking in the Brecons, the Cambrians and hopefully avoiding Snowdonia, some off road including the Taff trail and some down the quiet (hilly ) beautiful country lanes.

Why? you may ask.

Some call me cynical but it takes a lot to inspire me.  Mike Peters, James Chippendale and all those connected with the work of the Love Hope Strength Foundation have done that.

The charity promotes innovative, music related, outreach and awareness programmes for leukaemia and cancer sufferers, survivors and their families and have recently opened a new children's cancer centre in Tanzania with money raised by their efforts.

So, in the week of September 19th, you will find me probably wet through, definately muddy, possibly cold and certainly knackered somewhere in Wales. (I am hoping for a little bit of sunshine too)

It'll be worth it. :)

I have now completed my route mapping which you can view on:-

May was a great month for me....I got to play on stage with Mike Peters, the inspiration for this bike ride... still on cloud 9!

I am now also doing a 20 mile trek and a walk up Snowdon for a total of 3 challenges.  Snowdon will see me complete the trio of mountain ranges in Wales!
