Welcome to Leasedrive's ‘Road to Geneva’ Fundraising Page
The Leasedrive Group has arranged for a team of 18 riders to take part in a 351-mile, four-day charity bike ride from Luxembourg to Geneva from 26th to 29th June 2014 in aid of four charities.
The team, led by group head of IT, Paul Newman, aims to raise a minimum of £10,000 for Marie Curie, Scope, Macmillan and Mencap.
The stunning route will take the team through France and three National Parks, including the beautiful Jura mountains on the French/Swiss border. The ride will start from Luxembourg on Thursday 26th June and will cover 103 miles to Nancy, France. Day two is 93 miles between Nancy and Belfort. Day three is 74 miles from Belfort to Pontarlier and the last day covers 81 miles from Pontarlier, dropping down into the lakeside city of Geneva.
The Leasedrive Group has kindly agreed to be the main sponsor of the ride by covering the fuel, support vehicles and cycle shirt top costs, as well as underwriting its participating employees’ time-off, with each rider making contributions towards their flights, accommodation and food costs during the event.
Donating to Marie Curie through this JustGiving site is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Marie Curie and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - the team raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and sponsor Leasedrive’s riders today.
Many thanks for your support.
From all the team at Leasedrive.
