"By no means shall you attain to righteousness until you spend (benevolently) out of what you love; and whatever thing you spend, Allah surely knows it." chapter 3 verse 92

unfortunately this world isn't equal, a person with the exact same characteristics/ circumstances as you but born on the other side of the world will live a completely different lifestyle to you this winter. 

i wish all humans could put the efforts in, to change this and make the world a fairer place however sadly not everyone sees this as a main objective. my heart finds ease in knowing that "the hereafter is better and more enduring"

But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter" Surat At-Tawba 9:38

I began volunteering with Penny Appeal after hearing about all the great things they do for others and how they have truly helped changed lives for those in need. 

We are all humans and all experience times of being in need in different ways. The main reason we are all created and share this earth with one another is to be able to support and show love, kindness and generosity in times of need; and that is why i ask you to support  Penny Appeal in raising money for people living in extreme poverty, having to flee from violence whilst struggling to survive this winter. In Syria, families displaced by war huddle together to keep warm in camps. In Yemen, thousands face freezing nights as temperatures plummet. Indonesian families who have lost their homes due to the earthquakes are left without shelter, vulnerable to disease. 

Winter can be a difficult time for anyone, however, it truly becomes a fight for survival for those living in poverty across the globe, and here at home in the UK. We make a life by what we give, no one has ever become poor by giving. But rather richer in happiness and pureness. 

I pray we are all supported when we experience times of need. ameen
