Snowdon Challenge , 7 April 2019
We are helping thousands of African women to access quality healthcare services.

Story

A group of medical students and I are hiking up Snowdon with the weight of a full term pregnancy strapped to our stomachs in just over two weeks!!
This is all in aid of the amazing charity Freedom from Fistula, which provides healthcare to women who have suffered injuries through child birth.
In some parts of Africa, women are seen as having 'one foot in the grave' when they are pregnant- this has to stop!!

Probably got myself into doing something a bit too silly this time, and I know so many people have just donated for the half marathon, but if anyone can spare a few pennies it would go such a long way and can really make a difference to so many women's lives!
