Racing Welfare provides help for those in need, who work, or have worked, in the British racing and Thoroughbred breeding industry. People like Barney Bamford, an assistant trainer whose career and young family were rocked to the core by the paralysing fall he sustained on the training grounds. Every year the charity needs £1.5 million to continue there work, they rely on the generous donations of racing people and racing organisations. On Sunday 21st April 2013 myself and Jim Jarman from Uttoxeter Racecourse will be putting our best foot forward and competing in the London marathon, that’s a massive 26.2 miles, all in aid of Racing Welfare! So please donate!!
