As some of you may know, I lost my lovely aunty Jennie to cancer in September of last year.

Her bravery inspired me to do something a bit out of the ordinary. I couldn't think of a more fitting way to raise funds than to abseil down the Spinnaker Tower, where you have a perfect view of the island my aunt loved so much.

This abseil is to raise funds for the wonderful Rowan's Hospice, who took great care of my aunt, made her feel at home and helped my family through a very difficult time. This is for all of those who have lost someone, and who rely on the wonderful work local hospices carry out.
