We fund bone cancer research & grant wishes to seriously ill people #makingmemories

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Ok I'm about to start working working towards a BE80 one day event. (That's a British Eventing equestrian event).  It's something that I'm not fit enough to do and not brave enough to do and not trained to do.  I don't even have a horse to do it on but these small details aside I believe I can do it and I will.   I'll basically ride the, as yet unknown, horse in a one day event of dressage, show jumping and cross country at a height of a 80 cm.

Lots of us wobbleberries are doing it, we're all scared but this is important. Lots of us have never jumped, not jumped for years or simply only ever mooched about on horses. Everyone has been inspired by young eventer, Hannah Francis who sadly passed away after being diagnosed with bone cancer.  She was so brave and this was her passion so now we are going to train to do this in her name and raise shedloads of money while we're at it to kick cancer's butt!  Hannah set up the charity Willberry Wonder Pony before she died with the aim of raising money for cancer research and making wishes come true.

This challenge is becoming huge, lots of instructors, therapists and facility owners are getting behind us to train us. We'll all donate into our just giving accounts each time we have any training and we ask that you, our friends, donate as much or as little as you can to help generate as much money as possible for cancer research.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
