Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I will keep my story short, but hope you can understand my reasons for choosing this particular charity. Most of you who visit this page would have known my nanny Pat and the background surrounding this story.
In 2010 my lovely nan became very poorly and spent several months at Hurstwood park neurological centre being treated for a brain haemorrhage. After months of treatment and surgery, she slowly recovered and was able to come home to her family.
I will never forgot how brilliant the staff were at this hospital, and how they looked after my nan so well, and would love to be able to give something back to them.
This is why I have decided to run the Brighton half marathon in February 2015 and the Brighton full marathon in April 2015 in memory of my nan who sadly passed away in July 2013. Those of you who had the pleasure of knowing my nan will remember what a crazy, funny lady she was, and that she would be thrilled that we can give something back to the people that cared for her at Hurstwood Park neurological centre.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page,
