We fund research and raise awareness to create a world free from meningitis
Story
The amazing George Zographou aka Zoggy, tragically and suddenly died August 16th of Meningitis B whilst attending a festival. He was misdiagnosed and died alone on the floor of a welfare tent. His loss has been unbearable for those around him.
If there were more knowledge, awareness and an available vaccine he would still be alive, along with many others who die every year of Men B.
We have decided to channel our grief into something positive and make change. We are cycling from London to Paris this year to help fund the trials for men b vaccines in teenagers.
Follow 7 friends journey of love and remembrance for George and hopefully others can be inspired by this too who face similar loss.
We aim to educate and inspire others whilst making positive changes to Public Health in this county! Plus making you laugh along the way
Meningitis is deadly; killing and seriously disabling in hours. Small children and young adults are high risk, but all ages can be affected. Globally 1,000 people die daily. We fundraise to invest in research, campaign for vaccines, provide symptom information and support those already affected.
