Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I grew up with two wonderful brothers Robert and Michael. Both my brothers were born with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).
At this time there is no known cure for this disease. Sadly, Robert passed away on 29th May 2009.

Research costs thousands of pounds, in fact until a cure is found the cost has no limit. DMD is a life changing disease, apart from incapacity and the inability to perform mundane tasks like reading a magazine, shortened life expectancy is normal.

So after a good few bottles of wine and a night at the races some crazy person planted the seed of " lets climb killimanjaro!" to which I said yes!! sooooo all I ask is you take a few moments to sponsor me for this - any amount from £1 upwards is welcome and Ill do the climb !!! ( I think you got the better deal)
