As many people may or may not know, many of us have decided in the last couple of years to grow our hair to donate it and fundraise money for The Little Princess Trust.

We only have to donate a minimum of 7 inches of our hair but some of us have chosen to have a lot more cut off.

We get a lot of comments "why are you cutting your hair? It's so lovely and long though?" "Don't cut it" "such a shame you are cutting your hair".....we don't think this. We are all very proud of the charity hair cut, our hair will grow back and the exceptional work that this charity does for children who have strength beyond all of us to keep fighting their illness is inspirational. Our hair is the least we can do, we know this isn't much to us....to some children suffering it can mean the world.

Please give as little or as much as you would like to, every penny counts. The real hair wigs the charity provide are free to the children they help. If they supply a wig made from hair donated by people like us, then this wig costs the chariTry very little and sometimes absolutely nothing. If a suitable donated-hair wig cannot be sourced, then they buy in the most appropriate wig for the boy or girl in question, as close as possible to their original hair. The cost to the charity to purchase one wig is on average between £350-£500. Therefore as well as donating our hair, we aim to raise £700 in the aim to be able to pay for two wigs.
