My friends will know that i now have lots of problems and pain as a result of my clubbed foot and the problems associated with it so i am very nervous about the strain that that trek is going to put on me however I am very determined to get as fit as possible before i go and to get through it with as little moaning as possible ;o) In the end this is a marvelous opportunity that I probably won t be able to do in a few years time...
Children’s Adventure Farm Trust are a very special local charity (situated in Cheshire) that provides free holidays, day trips, and respite care for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children from all over the North West. When they visit the Adventure Farm these children have the chance to escape from some of the severe difficulties and hardships which they are usually faced with and can instead spend time just being children, having fun and making lots of happy memories. For the children the Adventure Farm is a magical place where they can take part in lots of activities that they wouldn't ordinarily be able to
