On the 7th June I am joining friends from Argos Business Solutions to walk 27 miles of the Brecon Beacons in aid of Alzheimer's Society.  Each year the employees of Argos raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for their nominated charity and this year is no exception and I'm delighted to be taking part.

Alzheimer's disease is one of the most common forms of progressive dementia which 1 in 50 people between the ages of 65-70 will experience some form of. Some of the first signs of Alzheimer's can include loss of memory and the ability to find the right words but diagnosis is difficult, especially in the early stages.

In most instances there are no ways to cure the diseases which cause dementia but Alzheimer's Society funds research into the cause, prevention, care and hopefully cure of all types of dementia. This is why your donation, whatever the amount, is needed and greatly appreciated.
