About 18 months ago my 48 year old husband suffered a stroke. If it hadnt have been for the adverts on television I would not have known what the symptoms were and took him to hospital within the what they call 'golden hour' Their care was amazing and the follow up care from the stroke assocation was fantastic.

He has now made a full recovery but the impact of that day really made me think of how our lives could have changed in an instant.

It can happen to anyone, Kevin was fit and healthy! 

By raising money for the stroke association it will help give them much needed funds for research into stroke prevention. ( Kevin is now on preventative medication ) support for the patient and their family to help make life easier after a stroke and to give people more of an awareness about strokes and what to do if you think someone is having one.

Nb, The sky dive is on 3rd august and not 22nd march as the site says
