As a girl and young adult I was a Guide and Ranger.  During this time I was supported through some hard times without questions being asked; they were just there to help as necessary.  I was completely accepted even when I was struggling.  With their help, I grew into a strong, caring woman - well I hope people who know me agree!

I now work with guides in this area, giving them the support and help that they need to become confident, active members of society.  The programme allows girls to tell us what they want and need to grow and in raising this money I am hoping to allow this amazing work to keep going - especially if team work and confidence involves play in, on or with water!!
