We provide hospice care in Worcestershire to give people the best quality of life

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It's been a while since I lost quite a bit of weight and inevitably there has been some "bounce" back. Whilst having some time for quiet reflection sat in our apartment in Austria, I came to the conclusion that me being overweight was, on the scale of things that happen to others, really quite insignificant. Yes I have joint issues which will be so much better with less weight to cope with, but so many people I know have suffered much, much more with their health, that I feel that I need to help do something positive whilst getting to a healthy weight. Feel free to follow my progress on my blog http://longdistancedieter.blogspot.com/

A fellow Worcester Warriors season ticket holder, Brian Marks, is losing his battle with the big C and is being supported by St Richard's Hospice, where he has been visited by some of the Worcester Warriors. This underlined to me how important it is that there are places like St Richard's Hospice for those in the same difficult circumstances at Brian.

So this is my small effort to help St Richard's help others.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
