Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Some of you will already know that in February I am undertaking a "challenge" in India to raise funds for the Brooke (www.thebrooke.org) charity which helps working animals in the world's poorest communities. They give free veterinary care and advice as well as educating owners on how best to care for their animals.

Whilst John and I were travelling in Egypt and Jordan we were appalled at the horrendous conditions these animals were forced to live and work in but we also saw first-hand the outstanding work of this charity.  

This challenge will be both physically and mentally challenging with us riding up to 6 hours a day and camping overnight. We will also visit a brick kiln factory in Deli where the animals are literally worked to death  (see attached photo).  There we will see how monies raised by us are being used.   

I will be paying for my flights and accommodation etc. so all donations will go straight to the charity.  I know we are all constantly bombarded by requests to donate to various charities but hope on this occasion you will support me and give generously to this extremely worthwhile organisation.

So please dig deep and donate now and don’t put off until tomorrow.
