This particular cause is important to me personally because, as some of you will already know, our youngest son Oscar is on the autistic spectrum.

We have managed to find a number of different resources to help him with his development, from speech therapy to one on one nursery sessions and communication disorder specialists.

However, many others are not as fortunate. Some children are completely unable to communicate and live in a isolated world of their own and their parents are not able to provide them with access to the additional help they need.

The Naked Heart Foundation is raising funds to build stimulation and ergotherapy rooms that are fully equipped to ensure the development of children with autism . They want every child to have access to a vibrant, safe and stimulating place to play and learn.

I hope that by running I can help to not only raise some money that will go towards providing other kids with the much needed facilities that they require, but also to raise awareness  and reduce the stigma that surrounds disability and the lasting impact it has on affected families.
