We help young people in their 20s and 30s to live life alongside cancer

Story

This September I’ll be climbing Mount Kenya to raise money for Trekstock.

For those of you who've seen me cycling or running around in my geek trainers, this may not come as such a big surprise, but... it is, IT'S HUGE!
Mount Kenya is massive, it's the second highest peak in Africa, and i'm climbing up it!

As this is such a massive feat, I'm going to be doing it for a massively worthy cause; Trekstock, a charity supporting young people with cancer and working with the support of Cancer Research UK to understand and ultimately cure this terrible disease.

So I'm putting in some serious man-hours; training 5 days a week till the 20th of September. i will be walking to all my casting and jobs, no travel-card needed pour moi. I will be running 10 miles a week to start with, hopefully going to 20 by the summer! Going on mini adventures at weekends, first stop, the Scottish Highlands, where apparently they go for 10mile hikes before breakfast...?!

I will also commit to cycling to and from all my friends houses, wherever they may live (providing its within the M25!)!

I need to raise £3,300 by August 1st, and so i need your help.

I may sound like a lot, but I've done the math; it means getting...
  1. ..£7 from everyone i know on Facebook...(“how did we meet?!”)
  2. ..303 people to pledge £10 (hello!)
  3. ..£1 from 3003 people (technically begging?)
  4. ..or selling everything i own (and perhaps some of my housemates stuff too!)
So it is possible, and I'm asking you guys to cough up whatever you can, and between us we can do it!

I'll keep everyone updated on the highs and lows of my training as well as my injuries (you know me!) and triumphs over the next few months. I also have some fun plans to help raise some cash too, so keep checking in!

Really, anything you can spare will be massively appreciated and go towards this great cause.

Thank you in advance

Much love

Scroll down to my interview!

Week four:   Highland adventures, off i went to the Highlands for a week, full blown adventure and the sun shone! Climbed Ben Hiant, walked so many miles i've gone numb, and even had a chilly dip in the sea!

Peak District is next on the agenda, but Italy is calling, off on 8th May till June, Dolomite's here i come!

Erghhh so Italy was a FAIL! Well not exactly, It was 34 degrees Monday till Friday, so i walked the streets doing on average 6h a day! Good going yeah!

But i was walking for the weekend to go to Como or the Dolomites to get the real training in, but low and behold every Friday night the heavens opened and never shut till Sunday sunset! The best electrical storm i've seen in Europe but it ruined all my trekking plans!

So here i am back in London now, a little fitter but not fulfilled! Although i did have a fantastic time in Dorset's New Forest!

New pictures up soon!

Been off the radar for a while but i have been training hard!

Just back from a double long weekend away doing nearly 100 miles in total! The count down is on: 20 days!!!!

Had my second to last injection today, Kenyan Visa tomorrow then weekend of sorting the Quiz, 8th of September at the Libertine in SE1, 7pm start!
