Story
As many of you know the Beviss household has had a very tough year!
So I thought in a moment of madness that I would like to raise money for a fantastic charity by running 26.219 miles at the 2014 London Marathon and running 500 miles through winter in preparation. My inspiration in all of this is my brave girl and gorgeous wife, Jane!! What she has been through this year can never really be put into words. As many of us know, there are so many unknowns and so many unanswered questions about this terrible disease that it is frightening.
The Breast Cancer Campaign is predominantly about the research and knowledge of cancer and of finding cures. 1 in 8 women in this country develop breast cancer. That is around 50,000 women every year. It's not just women either, 370 men develop breast cancer every year too. These figures will only increase without the research in finding cures and treatments.
Luckily for us Jane has now recovered from her 5 rounds of surgery but it is something that has changed us forever. We hope and pray that it will never come back for us but it affects so many people that the ongoing research is vital. Please can you support my moment of madness and donate as much or as little as you can to the Breast Cancer Campaign.
And almost as important please be aware........
