Story

On 18 October 2013, an 18 strong crew from Lewis Silkin will be embarking on a gruelling 150 mile cycle ride from the London office to Amsterdam in just 36 hours.

There will be trials, tribulations, punctured tyres but a huge amount of enthusiasm and good humour.

The cyclists are: Ian Jeffrey, Simon Morrissey, Mark Lim, Oliver Lawrence, Russell Brimelow, Theo Clarke, Paul Johnson, Sadiq Tajbhai, Clare Tiernan, Sarah O'Brien, James Evans, Duncan Quinan, Sarah Lampard, Ben Ruggles, Oliver Fairhurst, James Gill, Nigel Enticknap and Ned Lewis.

Why are they doing this?  The team are hoping to raise over £10,000 for Helen and Douglas House.

Helen & Douglas House are a wonderful charity who run a hospice based in Oxford. They care for children and young adults with life-shortening conditions and support their families. The two hospice houses offer specialist symptom and pain management, medically-supported short breaks and end-of-life care, as well as counselling and practical support for the whole family.  Lewis Silkin has supported this charity for a number of years and has built up a great relationship with them.
