I have choosen to join the Have a Heart Team at Heart Wiltshire Radio and run the Race for Life as Cancer has affected my family a great deal especially in the last 2 years.

Not only have I choosen to do this Race in memory of my Auntie Georgie who sadly lost her 4 year battle with Cancer in April of 2011, but also Sheila Kimmins and Malcolm Kimmins, my Step Grandparents, who were a big part of my life through my teenage years, both sadly loosing their fights against Cancer, Sheila only recently in September of 2011. Gill Vowler a very dear family friend who as i grew up was like a second mother to me and someone I could always turn to who sadly lost her brave fight only in July 2012.

I also do this race in honour of my Dad who I am pleased to say won his fight with Cancer and will always be my hero.

If like me you would like to help towards the fight against Cancer then please give a donation to help show your support.
