This September, I will come together with 20 members of A&O staff from around the world to undertake a 70km trek across the mountainous Jordanian desert with the aim of raising GBP 2000 for War Child. While in Jordan, we will also meet the War Child team and see with our own eyes the support they are providing to Syrian refugee children in the region.

War Child is striving for a world in which no child's life is torn apart by war. They protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children. The money we raise will go directly to support War Child's programmes to provide protection, education and livelihood support for the most marginalised children who have been affected by conflict. Over the past two years A&O has partnered with War Child and we have seen the direct benefit our donations make to the people who need it most.
