My parents suggested we take on a challenge this year, and as it is my last year in Tweseldown Infant School I decided that I wanted to do something special and something for a charity close to the school. 

I decided that I want to climb the 3 highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), Wales (Snowdon) and England (Scafell Pike). Many grown ups complete this challenge in 24 hours, but I'm 7 and 127cm, so we thought that one climb each fortnight in June/July would be more realistic for me. I'll be climbing Ben Nevis on June 3rd, Snowdon on June 11th, and Scafell Pike on July 2nd. The total walking distance is over 25 miles and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft). 

As you may know, Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care provides supportive
and end of life care for adult patients and families living with cancer or another serious progressive illness, in West Surrey and part of North East Hampshire. Every day they support over 250 patients and relatives - at the Hospice in Farnham, at the Beacon Centre in Guildford and in their own homes, through medical care, nursing, therapies, counselling, social work and practical support. All their services are free of charge, but as the NHS/Government only covers 20% of their costs, they have to raise over £20,000 a day and therefore rely heavily on the support and generosity of our local community, and people like you.
