During my time in the Armed Forces, and during extensive personal travel, I have had the opportunity to witness and occasionally meet children the world over who are in poverty, suffering from malnutrition and ill health, or facing the ravages of war,  and more often than not with no way out. As such, it is with great pleasure that I am undertaking the STEN challenge to raise money for UNICEF. It may be a drop in the ocean of what is needed, but I have seen just how far even the smallest donation can go and the value it can bring to a disadvantaged child's life
