As part of Bishop Fleming's centenary year celebrations, we (as a firm) are committed to raising a total target of £100,000 for charity split across a number of charities. I have volunteered to take part in the 3 peak challenge which involves climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours. This is 23 miles of walking with a 10,000 ft vertical ascent and 460 miles of driving in between to make it tougher!

My chosen charity is the British Heart Foundation. This cause is particularly important to me as my Dad suffered a heart attack and passed away in 2013.

The British Heart Foundation fund over £100 million of research each year into all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them to hopefully prevent further heartbreak. This includes heart disease, stroke, vascular dementia and diabetes. They also provide support for heart patients and their families.
