We support treatment, research and care to make our hospitals even better

Story

In June last year we found out that a beautiful 5 year old girl in our family, Pixie-Belle has a brain tumor. She has undergone Brain surgery already for a biopsy and the plan for treatment has now been finalized, they have said a weekly course of Chemotherapy for 84 weeks.

In May a group of family and friends ran together in the Manchester 10k run, unfortunately I’m not a runner - so I am going to WALK 200FT down the side of Manchester Crowne Plaza holding onto a rope instead!

The work MANCHESTER CHILDRENS HOSPITAL do is amazing and the care they have been providing for pixie-belle and her family has been what they have needed in this most testing of times.

The hospital is currently campaigning to raise money for a new iintra-operative MRI scanner and this is a cost of £4 million. Pixie-belle’s daddy and mummy have been raising money for this amazing cause for some time now and I am hoping to raise an additional £200 or more towards this by completing the super hero abseil!
