In September Lauren was running the Great North Run for TEAM OLLY. Unfortunately Lauren has broken her arm so is no longer able to participate but will continue to raise money and Becks will now be running the GNR. 

We will be raising money for Newcastle Hospital Trust and Charlie Bear for Cancer Care. 

So proud of this amazing, strong, brave and inspirational little soldier. He’s so close to all our heart and if it means running a half marathon to hear his voice, that is what we will do.

Olly’s story:

At present there is a massive contrast between Olly’s age group and the modern teenage unit.

Olly wants to have a voice !! The money raised is to be used to improve life for kids 9-13 years old in the RVI Children’s Cancer wards and within Radiotherapy at the Freeman.

We can then improve services for children like Olly such as better food, comfortable beds for our parents, a chill out room, less dinosaurs and monkeys on walls,a better kitchen and internet and TV that actually works !!!!

Olly met with some of the top people from the Great North Children’s Hospital at the RVI with his Mum and Dad. They really listened to his ideas and want his input to engage the opinions of his fellow patients.

We have joined together to raise money for the Newcastles Great North Children Hospital Ward 4/14 and Charlie Bear for Cancer care charites.
