Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am a Civil Engineering student at the University of Southampton and I am part of the fundraising team for Cameroon Catalyst, a charity that brings together students and engineers to promote sustainable development in Cameroon.

The charity was founded in 2009 and has since provided the rural community of Bambouti with housing improvements, new school buildings, a medical centre powered by a solar hub and workshops to encourage young people into apprenticeships.

This year we are fundraising for a water and santitation project that will provide 10 modern water wells across the region of eastern Cameroon, where 50% of the population do not have access to clean drinking water. Your kind donations will provide equipment and materials needed to build the wells and pumps and sustain them in the future.

Even the smallest donations can make a big difference!

Thank you
