Story
Well as I am sure you have seen on Facebook and Twitter we completed the challenge after 7 grueling days sunburn, soakings, Gale force winds and blisters! To see the pics search #lakeland77 on twitter.
The lakeland 77 Challenge will see 7 walkers attempting to sumitt 77 lakeland peaks in 7 days!
The event is a tribute to Alan Munnings, 'Dad', who passed away, aged 77, in December. Dad loved the lakes, a place where we shared so many happy memories.
It will be Dads last Lakeland walk. He will be with us every step of the way, until reaching his resting place in the Langdale Pikes on the final day.
Together, the team and I, aim to raise £7,777 for Parkinsons UK
The event is also a big thank you to the Parkinsons UK team, who have supported our family, since Dad was diagnosed with Parkinsons over 10 years ago.
Dad first took me on to the Lakeland fells when I was 8 years old, climbing Cat Bells from Keswick.
The first fell on the 77 challenge, will also be Cat Bells, and will finish in our favourite part of the Lakes - The Langdales - followed by a pint at The Old Dungeon Ghyll
