Story
This page is to raise awareness of the fantastic job that the Doctors and Nurses do at St. Michaels Hospital Bristol.
My beautiful twins were born early on 12th August 2011 at 22 weeks and 4 days gestation, at The Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
Lola Louise Evans was born first at 12:35pm weighing in at 450g and that afternoon, was rushed to St. MIchaels in an ambulance as the unit is well known in the area. Lola died on the afternoon of 16th August in my husbands arms.
Lukas Harrison Evans was born at 1:10pm weighing in at 485g and died shortly after birth.
During Lola's time at the Peter Dunn Intensive Care Unit (St. Michaels Hospital), she was looked after by a fantastic team of specialists. Unfortunately she was just too premature for them to help but I would like to raise awareness of this unit and help them to achieve their target for the new Intensive Care Unit.
I have decided that once £500 worth of donations have been made, I will be shaving off all my hair G.I Jane style and if you would like to sponsor me, I would be grateful if you could click the donate button on this page and funds will go direct to the Cots for Tots Fund.
Some people will think i'm crazy but that makes it even more special that i'm doing something a little different and I hope that you'll see this and donate to this wonderful fund.
