I'm sure that most of you will already know of the rape scandal surrounding Lloyd Irvin and his team recently. There have been further revelations related to this event that has made this whole thing more appalling, and this has lead to extreme feelings within the BJJ community.

Hopefully using this Grapplethon we can aid the very important work undertaken by the charity Rape Crisis, but more importantly it will help to maintain exposure and awareness over rape and sexual violence.

This year’s 24 hour GrappleThon will take place at Gracie Barra Bristol on the 4th May 2013. And as it was last year, it shall be streamed live across the internet!
