Neil and I decided we wanted to set ourself at least one personal challenge in 2014, and climbing Ben Nevis seemed like a good place to start. We did Ben Lomond in 2012 and that was a struggle..for me anyway! So Ben Nevis will be tough, but we're looking forward to it, and whats even better, is that we get to raise money for charity at the same time :) We're planning to do it in June, weather permitting,so plenty of time to reach and hopefully surpass our £600 target..we're hoping!!!
As Neil and I both love animals, we wanted the money we raised to go to helping them, and so we picked the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Scotland's animal welfare charity. They encourage kindness to animals, aim to prevent cruelty through education, investigate abuse, rescue anuimals in distress and find animals new homes
The Scottish SPCA receives no government or lottery funding and relies solely on public donations to continue vital work rescuing and rehoming abused, abandoned and injured animals in Scotland. Any support you are able to give us, will be greatly appreciated, and will help make a difference to the lives of so many animals.
